...makes this our fifth anniversary. Finally, our anniversaries have caught up to our kids.
We wanted to spend the day together, but unfortunately could not; we have plans for another weekend.
Everyone went to school except Harrison, and Brennan didn't go to his classes either. He's blue enough that we're talking about digging out the pills. He hates them but would take them if need be. Poor guy, I wish he didn't have to go through this garbage. Harrison was on Day 2 of his cold and was feeling fine enough to go skating later in the evening.
After drugging myself with cold medicine, I worked three hours at the fudge shop, and I think I had two customers. My coworker Jessica did caramel corn all morning. I made fudge bites, scored several pans of fudge and wrapped some squares. After work I came home and crashed.
Carter and Rosalind's skating party was held this evening, and they've been begging to go for months (the parties happen monthly as a school fundraiser). We decided we should let them go, so I dropped Brian and the three youngest off at the rink, then took Bella to Mutual (she got to shoot guns! Whoop!) and made Brennan come with me and get hot chocolate and appetizers at Shari's. He was a good sport.
I dropped him off afterward, picked up the skating peeps, dropped off the kids with Hubby and then we took off for a late dinner at Applebee's - his favorite, for the boneless chicken wings. I had some 550-calorie sirloin steak meal that was actually really good.
Then to Walmart for lunch supplies, and then home, and then bed.
Can't wait for this weekend!
