Sad face. I have a stomachache and headache.
Kudos to my main man for getting everyone to church on time by himself this morning. I've been too busy writhing in pain. I'm trying to rest but this is one yucky bug. I think I have what R had.
Bella had to give a talk in Sacrament meeting today, and I'm sad that I missed it.
I had everyone's church clothes ready for today, so that helped. I hate being rushed on Sunday mornings and we're trying to turn over a new leaf in that department. We now have a "church box" for the three little kids' shoes and ties and stuff.
Later: I was feeling okay enough to visit the relatives at Willamette National Cemetery today. Tomorrow we're going to Park Hill, and hopefully I won't be weakly shuffling around like your Great Aunt Mamie.

No gym today.
Kid/school conflicts. I'm bummed, I did so well yesterday and wanted to get back there today.

The Humanity!
I despair of ever having a school day without a sicko child on my couch, again. My gym peeps must be missing me by now. (Because it's all about my gym peeps.)
Sicko #2 is home from school. But R is off to school for the first time in a week! Hooray! And I eventually ended up at the gym. Hooray again!
Later this evening: I'm freezing my can off at C's baseball game. Shivering burns calories, shivering burns calories...
The game went well. He got on base both times he was at bat, and the second time he made it home.
I'm wearing a very darling jacket. What I should have invested in was a parka, a pair of snow boots and some of those little "hot hands" things.

Trip To Utah: Lunch with TWO Boys
This was one of the best parts of my trip: seeing Ric and Jason, two friends from high school days. We're hanging out in the Utah State Capitol, where Ric works as the Utah State Senate Deputy Chief of Staff. Jason works at a nearby biology firm. Ric gave us a wonderful tour of the building and introduced us to his staff - it was fun seeing them interact with him, after spending my teenage years on the phone and up trees and hanging out being goofy with him. He was like an actual adult (weird).
Later Ric took us to the Capitol cafeteria and bought us a very capital lunch. What a fun day!

Trip to Utah: The Bloggy Girls
We had such a great weekend together!

Suzanne, me, Carrie, Rachel, Corrie and Annie |
Carrie was largely responsible for getting us all together. She and her hubby own a hotel in Colorado and have a reciprocal agreement with other hotels, so she and her sister Annie met the rest of us in Utah. There was massive giggling, shopping and eating in restaurants. I had a marvelous time.
