Then it was off to the piano to practice "Beautiful Savior" some more. I finally got fed up and wrote my own treble part. Dumbed it down quite a bit, shall we say.
Church was nice. The choir performance went fine. I messed it up but it was nothing I'll suffer trauma over. Harrison stayed home with a sore throat and snotty nose, probably just allergies, but he was also deathly tired and we tend to be really cautious about letting him get too tired, as it seems to be a seizure trigger. We had Brennan stay home with Harrison. Poor boys, missing church and home alone with nothing but baskets of chocolate, the Xbox and each other. What a way to spend Easter. *weep*
Came home, ate more chocolate, did the usual Sunday "lay around till the kids bug us to get up" thing with Hubby. Then it was off to the kitchen to assemble hot ham water (Arrested Development!), funeral potatoes (Mormons!) and other culinary goodness. No dessert, though. With all the chocolate we bought last night, we'll be lucky if we're not diabetic by sundown.
Ate dinner - it was amazing.
Hubby took Carter and Rosalind out to try Roz's new sidewalk chalk. Looks like it works.

Happy Easter y'all!
