Christmas 1996

Brennan's fourth and Bella's first Christmas. She looks curious but was probably too young to freak much. Brennan by now had figured out that Santa wasn't going to hurt him (all previous pictures to the contrary) and knew it was "smile time." He was four and she was almost 8 months old.

Bella shows up

Our beautiful Isabella Kathleen in her beautiful lacy blessing dress. Grannie bought it for her at ZCMI. She and Rozzie were both blessed in it. Pretty soon after she was born, Bella lost the small amount of hair she had and was pretty much bald until after her first birthday. When she was really tiny, we called her "Henry B. Eyring." But when it grew in... it really grew in.

Christmas in Logan '95

Brennan, age 3, wearing one of our many Gymboree outfits, usually gifts from Aunt Kristy. Along with the turtleneck, sweater and pants, it included matching socks and suspenders. All three boys wore it to church at least once - I barely got rid of it a couple years ago after Carter outgrew it (except the socks, those are still hanging around).

Here we are in our Logan apartment on Christmas morning... I'm having my Christmas dinner.

Summer Vacation

We were living in Logan, and Hubby was attending Utah State University. For our summer vacation, we left Logan, went west to Nevada and then north through southeast Oregon toward Brookings. It was a most interesting route, one I'm glad I've traveled (so I never need to wonder what it was like - once was enough). We had a lot of fun, just Hubby, Brennan (age 2 1/2) and me. When we finally made it to Brookings, we visited all the old haunts. Here's Hubby at Lone Ranch beach, one of my favorite childhood spots.

Christmas in Logan '94

Merry Christmas! Mel came down to Logan to spend it with us this year. Brennan, being the only grandchild, was spoiled rotten - here we are, watching him play with his new train set.

So Hubby's parents wanted a nice family picture of us, and everything worked out fine except that Hubby had his eyes closed for this shot. Fortunately they knew how to paint EYES. Creepy...

Redmond Cousins

I don't know whose camera took this picture, but it was a little tweaked... here we have, at Neenaw and Gran's house, Jen, Ernie, Melanie, Stacy (on the back of the couch) and Gran's hands on the right. Looks like he's putting together a little paper crown or something.

Brennan Shows Up

Hubby and newborn Brennan, early October 1992 - fresh home from the hospital. Notice the flowers sitting on top of our teensy tiny TV. He was such a good baby, when he didn't have colic.

Hubby's birthday is October 16 and we thought Brennan was a great present that year.

Summer 1992

Dysart family picnic at Maryhill Park near Biggs, Oregon. It was nice and HOT that day and I was pregnant with Brennan... I wanted to be at home, sitting under the air conditioner. This was the day we were playing volleyball with the family. Hubby and I were standing across the net from each other, and Mr. Volleyball Player slammed the volleyball over the net at Mrs. Geeky Non-Sports Girl, who didn't react fast enough. The volleyball hit me square in the pregnant belly. Hubby felt so embarrassed - I felt bad for him.
