Walkabout Friday #2: It's Official

Walkabout Fridays are now a thing (for me): I bought The Card. It works pretty slick! 

Where dat bus at

Found myself at the mall. Found myself some sushi. Read for a while at the library (cough *nerd* cough). Bought some coffee and headed home.

This is the tree at Grandma and Poppy's house. It's grown a bit in the last fifty-plus years. I wonder if Poppy had any idea of how tall it would grow. 

Later:

Outdoor shenanigans. We went out front and gave the baby trees and the shrubs a drink.

Diagnoses: both girls are growing like weeds.

They both had shots and neither of them made a peep! Color me impressed!

Pizza Butt pizza for dinner, chocolate cream cupcakes and The Cake™️ for dessert, gifts, and a lovely time around the firepit.

Walkabout Friday #1: Crazy old woman rides the city bus

.....news at 11.

Made it to the library and checked out some books, but was that enough bus? NO. So I rode over to Portland, met Hubby for lunch, and enjoyed a cozy afternoon reading in his office while he worked (sucker). Then we rode back to the Couve and had B pick us up.

Walkabout Friday #1: SUCCESS

Hubby wanted to drive up to the tulip farm in Woodland and take photos, so off we went.

This picture, featuring Grandma and Poppy's house and a young redwood tree next to Uncle J, is fun because the tree is now huge and is the reason why the house no longer has a front yard.

Also, this house is on the next street up from ours and we drive by it frequently.
