Graduation Day

It was a fun day. First we were accosted at Walmart by these two guys. They belonged to a rugby team from Canada, in town to play the local team. They were hilarious (hard to tell, I know). The guy on the left is from France. Love it.

Playing Clue

We didn't separate the cards into person, place, or weapon categories and put one of each into the envelope.  We just shuffled them, put three random cards in the envelope and are making wild, weird guesses.

Here's how it ended up:

1) Mrs. Peacock with the gun and the rope. (She tied one end of the rope to the trigger and swung it around her head.)

2) Professor Plum in the hall and the kitchen. (It was quite a struggle.  The guy started to die in the hall and finished in the kitchen.)

Can you see her? She has taken up residence in our pampas grass in the front yard. We are excited to see some ducklings sometime soon.

I'm always jonesing to stop at Multnomah Falls.  My wish came true this time.  Yay.

Trip to Utah

Grandma and Pa celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary on April 20. Aunt Kristy threw them a big party, and we were invited. Woot!  We stayed with Kristy & Steve and Grandma & Pa in Utah.

We bought some bottled soda drinks at the Pantry (in the basement of the Lion House) and of course they thought it would be hilarious to pretend they were drinking alcoholic beverages while gazing at the Church Office Building.  I don't know where they get this stuff....heh

This is my favorite - my five babes in silhouette outside the Bountiful Temple, where we became a forever family.  They were being absolutely stinky about having their picture taken but somehow they managed to look wonderful.  Probably since we can't see their faces (wink, wink).

 

It was a fun trip.

Utah Randomness

Once we landed in Utah, we decided to take a break in Brigham City.  Found a local park and, just as sure as day must turn to night, out came the soccer ball.

We went to a Mormon Tabernacle Choir rehearsal while we were there.  I've always wanted to attend one and yay!  I finally got my chance.  The LDS Orchestra practices with them.  VERY cool.
