Cancellation Wednesday

Good morning!

It's another day at home. This morning I learned that pep band rehearsal is cancelled today - Dr. H is out sick. No work, no pep band, no school for R. I'm not complaining. 

If R is well enough, we're supposed to go to Seattle Friday for a soccer tournament, but at this point, who knows if that will happen?  She might still be sick, or they could cancel the whole thing. Everything feels weird and temporary and minute-by-minute right now.

I decided this week that I need some nature every day, so on the way back from taking Hubby to work, I stopped at the waterfront and grabbed some beauty.

Give me this day my daily outside time.

I chatted with B (who's still in Arizona) twice this morning - once in the car driving home, and once with R. Here R observes, and B listens in, as Catness and Goober have a tense standoff (maybe more of a lounge-off):

Later: When I walked out to the car to go pick up Hubby, I saw this: 

Our Friends of Trees elves came today! We signed up to have them plant two new trees in our front yard, and they came by to pre-dig the holes. We're so excited to get these two new babies!

And then: Dinner with this lovely gentleman

We went to Killer Burger. I like that they have this tree in the middle of their restaurant.
