Social Distancing, Day 51

I had a good day at work. Rachel learned that I sewed binding yesterday and asked if I'd like to learn to use a more complicated machine, and I said "Absolutely!" She also offered me more hours - and to be honest, I was the one limiting my hours, since I didn't want to spend eight hours a day ironing (and shopping for Shi** makes more per hour, if people tip).

But throw in other tasks, like actual sewing, and I'd love to be there full-time. So it was decided that I'll work in production full-time starting tomorrow. 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, yo! I'll have to start taking lunches to work.

Who knows what the future will bring, but I'm happy to be helping even more with the mask effort and expanding my skills right now.

After work, I completed two very nice shops at Jantzen Beach Target, then hung out at home and folded laundry. Hubby grilled hot dogs for dinner. Now we're enjoying the porch and backyard.
Life is good.
