We were so excited to find out last week that Rosalind was given a spot in the free dance program sponsored by the arts school. Her fitness teacher at school is "best friends" with the lady who runs the dance program, and she told Roz that she asked her friend to watch out for Roz. Here she is all barefoot and ready to get her groove on.
After the dance practice, the kids were all taken to P-town for a dance recital field trip. Rozzie had a great time.
For Mutual tonight, the young women had a stake sports night complete with volleyball, limbo and hula dancing (sounds like some peeps would rather be in the Islands), and Harrison and Carter had Scouts. We gave Brittany Z a ride.
In other news, WE HAVE A WASHER!! Hubby and Brennan brought Hanna's washer in from the shed, and Hubby attached it to the hoses, turned it on, it worked great, and we were good to go. We spent a blissful evening washing our stacks of dirty laundry and eating Domino's pizza.
YES I said "blissful" and "dirty laundry" in the same sentence.
Along with the usual, I put together to-do and shopping lists for housey projects on Cozi.com, and shredded a pile of old paperwork that was cluttering up the work room (where we have the computer and piano and a stankload of boxes at the moment). Sweet.
