My Children are Dipwads

Woke up early and took Hubby and Bella to the sports complex for a day of soccer games.   Afterward, I went to Winco and bought supplies for a chores and appointment poster, then stopped for gas.  When I came home, I interrupted Carter and Tyson's video gaming and Roz's goofing off and being cute to take them over to the Tu...'s and care for the dog.

The dog was adorable and thrilled to see us.  She actually lay down on the floor belly up, wanting some pats.  I can't tell if she would do that with anyone or if she knows me well enough to welcome me.  We let her outside and the kids spent a few minutes enjoying the backyard.

Once home, I worked on the poster, cutting apart baseball card notebook pages (the kind with plastic pockets) and the new Mary Engelbreit calendar.  It turned out pretty cute; we'll see how often it will be used.

Dropped off Carter at his soccer game; picked up Hubby at the sports complex and dropped him off with Carter. Went home again. Bella caught a ride home and arrived wet and muddy. Meanwhile, I trimmed Harrison's Bieber hair and made it look better until we can see a stylist.

Carter went home with his friend Jack Gri... after their game, so I ended up picking up only Hubby. Came home and fell asleep on the couch; made dinner, grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches. When it was time to pick Carter up, Brennan and Bella announced they wanted to go out, so we let them loose with their remaining cash. They ended up having quite the adventure, including traveling to Bed Bath and Beyond (Bella hiding under a bed and popping out while a customer was looking at its bedding) and World Imports (Brennan bought pesto). Hubby, Roz and I picked up Carter, went to Winco, bought gas and went home.

One of the things I like about writing in this blog every day is chronicling the normal boring days.  Not every day is interesting to read about - I would say most of them aren't.  But when the big days come, it's nice to read back and see that life isn't always nutty.
