I was absolutely certain I could not live in this house another second, with our space limitations the way they are. We need a fourth bedroom YESTERDAY. After I got the kids to school and spent some time on the house, Mom and I texted back and forth about it and looked around at real estate together online. Gotta love the Internet and texting. We didn't find anything, but Hubby and I are indeed thinking of moving once we find a bigger place and a landlord who will sort of compare to our current one, who has been wonderful.
What a crazy day of driving around after the kids were home from school. Around 4:30 I left with Carter and Rosalind. For the last couple of days, Bella and her orchestra have been floating around to different middle schools in our district, playing for the middle school kids and trying to convince them to join orchestra when they come to high school. She told me she was going to be at one school but to pick her up at another, so when it was time, I mistakenly drove to the first school instead. Duh. And I'm blind (no glasses), and Brennan's car is a pain in the butt to drive in rush hour traffic. (There may have been a Mommy meltdown.)
Finally we met up, and we headed for her and Rozzie's practice. Bella was tired and hungry and her feet hurt, and at hearing the news she was expected to coach practice RIGHT THEN (her daddy forgot to mention that), became a little tearful herself.
Got the girls to practice and Carter to Cub scouts, went to Arby's and got the girls dinner to appease Bella's little hunger wrath, then drove home to get Hubby and Harrison and drop Roz at home. Then I took everyone but Brennan and Roz to the church - Bella and Harrison went to Mutual and Brian met Sammi (she was picking up Nathan) to catch a ride over to the pizza joint for a soccer meeting. Went to the store and bought groceries, and went home. We all had cereal or yogurt or whatever we wanted for dinner. I love nights like that. Put Roz to bed in my room and slept for about ten minutes, then picked up the Mutual kids and Hubby and Carter at the meeting.
Home to bed.
