Today was the first day back to school. Hubby stayed home for most of the day, so he helped get everyone ready. They were all on time. After we took Bella to school, he took Roz and me to work. We goofed off with Charles and his toys. Afterward we went to Starbucks for hot chocolate and treats.
After we dropped off Roz at school, we went to the family's motel room in Portland and hung out there for a little while, then went shopping and out to lunch with Kristy and Steve. Hubby bought his new shoes at Famous Footwear, and we ate at Red Robin.
We hung around the rest of the afternoon and evening, Kristy and Grandma looking over my cross stitch stuff, watching the BSU-TCU game, Steve playing around on Facebook, at home. We went to Izzy's for dinner but arrived there so late that they were ready to put the food away. Kristy and I loaded up plates for Hubby, Brennan and Bella, who weren't there yet, and then we all slammed down our food.
Afterward, everyone came to the house, and the kids hugged Pa and Grandma and Kristy and Steve goodbye.
