Sweet, Sweet Friday

Took C to work, ate us some Starbucks, deposited my check.

Hair: Ever since the Great Haircut Debacle of July 2018, with only two exceptions, I've been cutting my own hair ("No touchy!!!! NOOOO TOUCHY"). Early on in the growout process, I gave myself bangs, and now I'm kind of wishing I hadn't and am contemplating growing them out.

Since yesterday I've been channeling Faye from That Thing You Do!.

Packed our stuff and now we're heading north on I-5:

Arrived in Napavine, Washington, about 1:25 PM and bought R a fruit and cheese protein box from Starbucks. Hubby and I took our chances at Arby's.

Potty break at 2:55 PM:

Meanwhile, at work....

And back at home....

Back to our trip: We went east on I-90 through Snoqualmie Pass...

....and eventually, we found these folks: 

We ate steak, told stories, laughed a lot, and went to bed.

P.S. This crib has been in my mom's family for generations. I love that it's still in use.
