Just chilling. It's Wednesday. The Shi** app keeps alerting me with shops to do, though I'm off the schedule. Haven't ventured out with Uber Eats yet. Later we'll take Sherlock to the Dodge dealership and pray to the goddess of minivans for relief. Meanwhile I'm in bed, eating pastel M&Ms.
Later: Dropped the van at the dealership. B and R met me there and R drove us home. I ate some lunch, then took our gross white(ish) bedspread and went in search of a laundromat. The one closest to us is closed, but the big one on Fourth Plain is open. Other than to use the machines, customers aren't allowed to be inside. Luckily it only took about an hour.
M made some tasty banana bread.
Nick, the bonnet shop production manager, offered me some work hours, so I'm going in Friday morning and working all day in production. I fully expect to have no clue what I'm doing and to be teased by Yvonne all day, a welcome situation. She's hilarious. Also, the money is more certain than depending on tips.

Spent some time in the backyard hammock.
Bad news: Sherlock is no longer living up to his nickname (No Shi* Sherlock - named after the fact that we endured owning two very terrible old minivans - one very aptly named Amy Fisher - before we bought him). The transmission AND the thermostat are dead and there's oil in the oil pan which I guess is a bad thing.
It will all be very expensive to fix. So now we're stuck with a conundrum: fix or trade in?
These two came outside and my hammock was commandeered.
Then Hubby, Bella, R and I watched Game Night, hilarious movie; then Survivor, the episode with the visit from loved ones. I cried so much!!
*At what point do we stop counting? Maybe this is just life now. Scary to contemplate.
