Social Distancing, Day 4

Two early morning trips to WinCo and Wal-Mart: WinCo was interesting. I stood in line to go inside - they are normally open 24 hours a day but have been closing overnight lately - and once I was inside, it was ON like the reality show Amazing Race.

On the way down the hill to the store, I passed a WinCo semi coming up the hill, having just delivered store goods. It was a good omen. They had what we needed. The toilet paper shelves were almost instantly decimated; I grabbed a package too and was grateful to get it. Things were pretty tense.

Wal-Mart was Wal-Mart. We like their fake Claritin-esque allergy medicine.

Stay Away From Me: We're talking about working harder at social distancing. I think our family could be doing better. Hubby is on the fence and some of the kids are reluctant. Pretty typical for this household. The virus sounds absolutely miserable, and this is going to sound obvious, but I would really rather not get it.

In other news, the weather continues to be beautiful.
