Social Distancing, Day 2: Saint Patrick's Day

It's killing me that I didn't get to subtitle this post with Electric Boogaloo, but them's the breaks.

After eating breakfast and doing more dishes, ahem, I enjoyed a lovely hour-long walk. I have a game where I walk in a straight line (or as close to that as possible, I try to avoid sand pits and swimming pools) for 30 minutes to see how far I can get and then spend the next 30 minutes walking home.

Today I made it this far: just a few feet away from the intersection of Mill Plain & Garrison.
 Garrison Square across the street
Holy poop, I'm amazing!
Then I turned around and went home. Found some beautiful Forsythia bushes in full bloom:

People are still using the drive-through at the Starbucks close to the corner of Lieser and Mill Plain:

Random springtime flower shots to remind us that life goes on and things will improve (in case we ever forget that and fall into the abyss of despair, like we do when we have to go to WinCo):
And some shots of downed tree branches that broke during our recent windstorm, to remind us that crap happens and we will rebuild:

And this is what I found when I came home:

LATER: The cooking and baking commenced!Corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash and gravy, soda bread, and apple cake were on the menu.
