Social Distancing, Day 1

(Day 1 because the weekend doesn't count. We already have that off.)

I went to work for a whole 2 hours and 11 minutes today. I don't go back in until Wednesday. But guess what, I'm not complaining because this is going to be the funnest pandemic everrrrrrr.

Since Saint Patrick's day is tomorrow, we must serve the traditional Irish feast, so I found myself at WinCo after work. It was pretty much a zoo.

Also, I didn't know this, but apparently this is the pandemic that makes people lose their socks:
People are idiots.

Though the shelves are looking quite bare, I was able to buy everything except the corned beef at WinCo. After dropping everything else home, I ran to Chuck's Produce and found a lovely corned beef. St. Patty's Day is saved.

Then it was off for a nice long walk. I walked through the park near our house down Ellsworth to the end of the road.

There's that river!
"I'm your private railroad crossing, a railroad crossing for money, I'll do what you want me to do"

Then I had to walk all the way up that hill. But it feels so good to be outside right now.
Came home planning to get my holiday cooking on, took one look at the kitchen, and said NOPE. Not till people (i.e. not I) do some dishes and make some room. I cannot create in chaos.

But I can read and/or nap in it.
R came in later to tell me that she's having a very nice day. She's doing a great job keeping herself occupied.

Today I Made: Brownies with Miss R. We had Domino's for dinner, probably our last for a while.
