Snow!

This morning, we woke up to this:
And poor little Rosalind parked herself in front of the TV and watched the news ticker for quite a long time, hoping to see our school district's name listed with "two hour delay" or "closed", but we knew it was not to be - it was too warm and slushy. It was wonderful to drive in, very fun.

Everyone was on time for school except Bella, whose preferred pair of jeans was still tumbling in the dryer when it was time for her to go. I picked her and Bradley up from Seminary at the Tu....s and dropped Bradley off at school before returning home with Bella, so she could change and (ahem) finish her homework. Naughty girl. I dropped her off after the little kids went to school.

Spent another fun-filled three hours at work, with two customers the whole tme. But it was okay, I kept myself busy with cutting and wrapping fudge for other-store selling, rearranging and cleaning the counter, washing dishes, and I finally broke down and washed the windows in the doors and wiped down the display. Yawn! But it's money. I'm glad I was able to keep busy. I also picked up my first official paycheck and cashed it after I picked up Bella.

While at work, I received a sad phone call from Harrison, who had fallen in the snow and become wet and muddy. Good thing Brennan was home. Though I'd obviously rather he was well enough to feel like going to his classes, it worked out well this time. He was able to walk to the school and accompany Harrison home to change clothes; Harrison went back to school and finished the day, including his technology club after school.

Came home from work and messed around with the blog; Hubby came home early for Bella's practice and Carter's futsal. I opted out of going to orchestra rehearsal tonight - actually my continued cold and blazing headache and sweet protective Hubby did it for me - and we had Domino's for dinner.
