BIG SISTER little sister
Baby #2's gender reveal announcement on FB:
Later, Baby R enjoys snacking on the TV remote:
It was another good busy day. We worked on the backyard again, Hubby mowing the lawn and me tackling the blackberry vines and overgrown grasses on the slope. I feel like we'll be battling those two things forever, but sometime in the future we'll have a retaining wall built back there and build a fun new garden. That's the plan.
Today's other highlights include heading to Cost Less Auto Parts for new light bulbs for our left turn signal, lunch from Wendy's, laundry and TV-watching.
Tomorrow will be exciting.

Newses
1. Bella bought a motorcycle! She's been wanting one for a long time and took riding lessons earlier this year.
Here's Hubby riding it:
2. H is moving to an apartment with friends. He'll be close by, but I still feel sad. There goes my sweet Harr Bear. I'm proud of him and happy for him though.
3. L was finally able to have an ultrasound - Baby #2 is a girl!! Baby R will have a sister. Here she is lounging:
Work was fun and interesting today. Barbara has been training Lindsey to take care of shipping, and after I got things started this morning by printing batches and labels, Lindsey took over and did everything else. I helped ship, made boxes and thank you cards, watered the shop plants (Barbara's job) and took out the garbage, and helped Lindsey when she needed it, but she didn't need me much.
It's nice that she's doing so well. My days of being asked to help in shipping are numbered.

The View From Here
Sunburn....on my shoulders.... makes me stripey.... Yesterday's garden exploits are showing up in a couple of places.
Once again I'm covering shipping for Barbara, today, tomorrow and Monday. I love the old shipping area, but I of course missed production, so they graciously allowed me to sew during my downtimes. Probably because I brought in plums from our tree today and they were exceptional.
Using the two-needle machine I learned to use on Tuesday. I love this floral fabric:
This guy (wearing his "80s" mask I made) was awesome about helping me load up the packages and take them to the post office:
I needed a Kitchen Sink cookie from Panera, so C drove us to Jantzen Beach - his first time crossing the bridge into Portland. He did very well.
I had an enjoyable chat with Brian B, then went out to the hammock to wait for dinner (Bella's picking up Chinese for us - Hubby was craving it). Found my black glasses, left here overnight. My children think it's so funny that I can't see my glasses unless I'm actually wearing them, but for me, the struggle is real.
