Sunday Silliness

Today we attended the old ward again, for the missionary farewell talk of Caitlin W, Candice S's sister. It was like going home. Why did we have to leave this ward, again?
Naughty babies
After chatting and hugging and laughing and smiling, we took the children home,
where they subjected us to these antics.

Knuckle cracking

For dinner, we made crock pot Italian chicken and pasta. Mmmmm. It was a good day.

Choose the Right! You Won't!*

Harrison and Carter had referee class today with C's friend Ethan. After dropping them off, we drove to Cousin Chris' storage unit and picked up Grandma Dot's old Yamaha organ. I am thrilled beyond life to have an organ in the house again. Thanks Chris!

Later, Hubby and I went shopping at Beehive Clothing and Deseret Book. He needed supplies and I decided to wrangle a cool new CTR ring out of the deal. It's hard to see in the picture, but the blue reminds me of a mood ring. "Am I in the mood to choose the right? Hmmmm."

You better, dang it
Afterward we went to Chevy's. One of the dishes that came with my meal was chile relleno, which I am always amazed that I like. That's good times.

*A familiar taunt our children have picked up - Ethan said it in the car today. "Do it! You won't!"

THANK YOU FACEBOOK

Facebook recently incorporated an app that's still pretty new to me, called On This Day, where you can click on it and it'll show you everything you said/did/posted on Facebook on this particular day, one or more years ago.

Since Facebook and I are no longer friends (I unfriended it), I've been using On This Day to copy and paste posts from Facebook to this blog, to keep memories and family history and stuff. It was once a daunting task, but now I click on the On This Day link, and it shows me the few things I posted over the years for just that day, and copying and pasting a few things per day is totally doable.

I should have my Facebook profile cleared off in less than a year, then I can just lurk there and all that will be left is my name. Puhuhahahahaha! (<---Maverick laugh)

Also, I ordered a five-year diary. Mom's great Aunt Maude had one in her things when she died and I think it was brand new, and I started writing things in it. True, you can't write much, but if you write in it every day, what a fun record of the past five years.

My new diary arrived yesterday and I made my first entry last night. It's quite motivating.

Cue: Bread's song Diary (except I won't be leaving my diary underneath a tree).
