COOKIE HIDING UPDATE

But first: The spirit is willing, but the flesh wants to stay cozy in bed.

The cookie-hiding has gone really well this time. It's 24 hours later and I had cookies for everyone's lunches today, and have cookies for lunches TOMORROW.

Wooo! Go me!

Also: I'm sick of cold and damp. I had to actually WALK in it today. With an umbrella!

Normally I can handle our crappy cold wet winter weather, when it doesn't last into June.

Conundrum

I'm skinny enough to put my old garnet ring on my finger, but still too fat to take it off.  Hubby offered to take me to the jail and use the ring cutters.

Speaking of losing weight: I'm making cookies and hatching plans to hide them.

It's hard to find effective hiding places with this group. I had to play "cookie police" today. It helps when I make them while they're away at school.

Shopping in the Hawthorne District

There was also a toy just like this called Nun Chucks. Good stuff.

Coziness

The Carpenters' "Superstar" is on the "grandma" radio station on the way to school.
Me: The lady singing is dead.
B: I bet.

(I love this radio station - it's like cozy slippers.)

Also: Neenaw left today. Happy travels, Neenaw!

Later: Bed sounds like a groovy idea.
